The Gas Alarm system components shall have similar features as specified below:
1. Gas controller cum display unit:
It shall be digital programmable logic controller (PLC) with CPU based, based on decentralized monitoring architecture with: 5 x slave controller (without display, with local digital output for alarm / Fan / Valve control etc) modules over RS485 serial interface TCP/IP or ModBus Communication, 1x Master Controller (with 10 inch colored touch-screen HMI LCD Display, with digital output for alarm / fan / valve control)
Display would show: gas concentration at each sensor, sensor status, sensor location, alarm status, system error, fault location etc Integrate able with BMS/ SCADA, Fire alarm system Configurable alarm threshold via touchscreen display password protected Simple English menu for configuration, with aux. power supply to sensor transmitters, wall mountable IP65 metallic / ABS fire retardant enclosure (non explosion proof), fire retardant panel wiring, 230VAC 1-phase power supply, with bench-top programming.
2. Hydrogen gas sensor/detector transmitter:
It shall be online, continuous monitoring of hydrogen in ambient air, measuring range: 0-2000 ppm H2, Electro-chemical sensor cell technology, RS485 serial interface with MobBus RTU communication, 4-20mA analog output linear proportional, anti-static epoxy coated metallic enclosure, SS 316 sensor cell enclosure with flash back arrestor and sintered filter, without on-board display & relays, 24V DC powered, response time < 15 sec, IP55 ingress protection.
